Our commitment to an accessible, senior-friendly website.
Last updated: August 8, 2026.
Student Music Project is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including older adults and people with disabilities. Accessibility is central to our mission of serving seniors and their communities.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and to design with an older-adult audience in mind — comfortable text sizes, strong color contrast, clear navigation, large touch targets, and a visible phone number for those who prefer to call.
These include readable typography and color contrast, descriptive text for images, keyboard-operable navigation and visible focus, clearly labeled forms, respect for reduced-motion preferences, and responsive layouts for phones and tablets.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We review our site regularly and work to fix issues as we find them. Some third-party content (such as embedded maps or payment tools) may not be fully under our control.
If you have trouble using any part of this site, or have a suggestion, please tell us and we will do our best to help and to fix the problem. Contact us at [email protected] or 617-828-1754. You can also reach us by mail at Wally’s Cafe Jazz Club, 427 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston, MA 02118.
